How to get iPhoned : 5S

iPhone 5s is purposefully imagined. Meticulously considered. Precision crafted. It’s not just a product of what’s technologically possible. But what’s technologically useful. It’s not just what’s next. But what should be next.

As the date for launch of iPhone 6 is approaching, speculations are increasing over internet about the new features it will boost. No doubt iPhones are among the most popular smartphones on the planet. The iOS interface is simple and may have limited customization capabilities, but there are a number of useful features built into it.

It’s easy to miss some of the best parts of iOS as Apple has hidden some good stuff in the menus. Aim here is to help you get the most of the device. Lets look at some of the features you might be missing.

Messages with Timestamp

You can easily view the timestamps of each message by just touching and dragging the message bubbles to the left. This will give you detailed timestamps of each conversation.

The calendar app lets you view birthdays, appointments by list, day or month. Landscape mode allows you to see view for five days.

You can swipe between weeks in the calendar and use the search icon to get a list view of every event.

If you have entered a wrong digit in the Calculator app instead of tapping the Clear [C] button, you can just swipe your finger to the left or right of the numbers to clear the last digit. Each swipe will remove the last digit until the number becomes zero.

There are many people out there who like to listen to music when getting into bed for the night but often doze off without switching the music player off . Well, you can use a timer to help you shut down the music. To do this, tap on Clock > Timer > When Timer Ends. Scroll down and tap Stop Playing. Then, set a timer (say 30 mins) and tap Start. Now you may play any music and it will be turned off after 30 mins.

In Safari, type in the word in the search bar on the top right and tap Search. In the results page, scroll all the way down and you will see how many words were found On This Page. Tap on the searched word/phrase and you will be directed back to the web page with the searched word/phrase highlighted in yellow.

Shoot 10 Photos Per Second in Burst Mode

The iPhone 5s includes a burst mode on the iOS 7 camera app that is capable of shooting 10 photos per second. iPhone 5 allowed just 3 photos per second so this is a major upgrade for all those camera lovers who want to capture every moment.

Use the Flash While Shooting Video

If you hate taking a video only to find out the subject is too dark to see, the iPhone 5s can now brighten up the view by automatically turning the flash on while shooting video.

When on the video or Slow motion video frame, tap on the flash icon just like you would for a photo and pick auto / on / off to set it up. With auto, you’ll only get light when the phone thanks you need it, and on will always fire the flash.

Add an Emoji Keyboard

The iPhone 5s includes support for multiple on-screen keyboards including an Emoji keyboard. The Emoji keyboard offers access to dozens of small icons from faces and animals to plants and much more that can spice up messages.
Go to Settings -> General -> Keyboard -> Add new Keyboard -> Emoji to add this option.
When using the keyboard, tap on the world icon to switch between the keyboards. If you need to fast switch between multiple keyboards, hold the globe icon.

Use the Flash or Notifications

This isn’t new for the iPhone 5s, but it is a handy feature that is brighter on the iPhone 5s. Users can set the flash to go off when there is a call or text, for a makeshift LED notification.

Go to Settings -> General -> Accessibility, and scroll down to “LED Flash for Alerts" and flip the toggle to the “on” position. Now when an alarm goes off, your flashlight will flash.

Make Siri More Useful

Siri got the very welcome ability to launch apps last year, and the voice command’s features are only expanding. Now you can:
  1. Turn her into a him (or vice versa)
  2. Trigger Siri when you hold the handset to your face
  3. Correct her pronunciation
  4. Identify relationships between you and contacts (brother, mother, girlfriend, spouse)
  5. Tell her to turn on/off Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and other system settings

For (1) and (2) Settings -> General -> Siri to set the voice as male or female, or to activate Siri when you hold it up to your head. (3) If she messes up pronunciation, you can just correct her in the moment. (Say “that’s not how you pronounce that” to pull up options.) (4) To let Siri know that “Emma Stone ” is your girlfriend, just launch Siri—long press on the home button—and tell her that “Emma Stone is my girlfriend.” (5) To switch settings on or off via voice command, activate Siri simply speak the command out loud "Turn off cellular data"
Also, when you tell Siri where you live and work, she can provide context sensitive reminders.

Use Safari To See Tweets With Links / URLs

To quickly see all the tweets in your timeline with URLs / links, simply launch Safari, press the bookmarks button – the one that looks like an open book, obviously – then press the @ button on top. Boom! All the tweets with links in one place. You should be signed in to your Twitter account in Settings > Twitter in order for this feature to work.

There maybe and there are more cool features in iPhone such as :  switch control, assistive touch,
Text-To-Speech etc.

Keep exploring.                                                                        AND THATS DONE !!!
